25 October 2008 Waiheke Coastal Classic *
A stunning coastal run or walk with 18km and 10km options.
Enter on the day - From 9am at Onetangi and 9.15 at Oneroa you can enter on the day. Just turn up at the start with $35 for 18k, $25 for 10k.

7 & 8 November Art Out There *
An annual exhibition of outdoor artwork for the garden, presented by the Waiheke Community Art Gallery, at Rangihoua Estate’s beautiful Nikau Walk.
The exhibition features, garden sculpture, ceramics, wind vanes, water features, and garden seats.

A fabulous selection of private gardens covering a range of styles and sizes.

17 January 2009 Wharf to Wharf Fun Run
Run or walk 25km from Orapiu Wharf to Matiatia Wharf through beautiful scenery and over hilly terraine. Or if that sounds too tough there are other options such as walking 13km to Onetangi, or run or walk 12 km from Onetangi to Matiatia, or start at Kennedy Point and run or walk 7kms to Matiatia. If there are a group of you dress up and enter a team in the 12km event.

23 January - 15 February 2009 Headland - Sculpture on the Gulf
A biennial outdoor sculpture exhibition held on a magnificent two kilometre public walkway on the coast of Waiheke Island. It is an important event on the New Zealand arts calendar and is a showcase for New Zealand’s leading sculptors. The exhibition is a non-profit event, free to the public
